The Lykoi Cat, sometimes referred to as the “werewolf cat,” is an extremely unusual variety that developed from a spontaneous mutation in housecats with short hair. The mutation results in a distinct wolf-like look and partial baldness. Brittney Gobble developed the breed in Tennessee, and it has since become famous all across the globe.

The breed’s intriguing seasonal shedding, sometimes known as “wolfing out,” is one of its characteristics.
